My Training
My curiosity about alternative healing began in 1972, when I was placed in a chiropractor’s office through a work study program my senior year of high school. I was very naïve and new nothing about chiropractic…my eyes started to open that year.
Later, while living in a small town in the Colorado mountains for 10 years in the 1980’s, I discovered my love of nature. The majesty, grace, and unbelievable beauty of the mountains, plants and wildlife fed me on a very deep level.
And developing my intuitive abilities over the last 12 years has also brought a deeper perspective to my herbal medicine studies. Connecting with the spiritual essence of the plants, and learning directly from them about their unique healing gifts, adds another dimension to my understanding of the plants. It is the combination of my interests in intuitive development, energy healing and herbal medicine that birthed Herbal Spirit Healing.
My personal spiritual growth journey has taken many twists and turns, and includes energy healing, intuitive development, and herbal medicine. This journey of self-healing has been about how to see myself clearly, acknowledge the behaviors and beliefs that have limited my ability to engage in life with presence, and take action to break these patterns.
In all honesty, the action part is the most challenging for me. Sometimes I feel like I am back at the beginning, but it’s really just another turn of the spiral, another layer of the onion peeled away, revealing something deeper.
Herbal Spirit Healing sessions are a blend of the information received in the energy work from both your guiding spirits and the plants. Our combined intention will support your healing process in clearing blocks in your energy field and helping to restore the flow of energy. We will work with the energetic spirit of the herbs to support your innate healing capability.
Life is an incredible, ongoing process of experience and discovery, and I am committed to my spiritual evolution—strengthening my personal knowingness to support deep healing.
